“ We met some friends who live in the area for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were greeted warmly and sat at a table! Waitress was awesome and on top of taking care of our table of 5. Breakfast was great - including drink options. Price was right where i would expect. Location & Parking lot where easy to find and parking lot was plentiful. There were regulars and you could tell they were well valued and welcomed with how you should be treated. We will be back to try their other menu options & drink options. You should too! ”

“ 'Wow it's been slightly over 7 years since I last walked thru the doors of the Fat Moose? We three. Myself, wife and childhood friend stopped in after taking in a Cat show in Longview! Food is still just as good as last time I was here on new years day 2017! A bit noisy close to 3 pm but it is a sports bar and what it is it is?. those old fashioned taco salads with the old type shell is available here? The portions are generous so no one leaves hungry. I opted for a clubhouse W/ some onion rings and could barely finish it all. My wife's choice was a generous bowl of homemade clam chowder not the canned type! So I think I'll leave 5 stars for the fat moose? *****! ”
“ We dined here as it was recommended by a friend. Mr. Wonderful likes chicken fried steak, I mean, he *really likes chicken fried steak and this place is known for theirs. Fat Moose Bar and Grill is just that, a bar and grill. The interior is eclectic and homey. We believe that most of the patrons dining were regulars. As I have mentioned before, I'll mention it again; this is a good sign! If you can keep your locals coming back for more, you're doing something right. And these folks are doing something right! My husband ordered an Alaskan Amber Ale and I had a boozy coffee. They are very generous with their pours! Which was appreciated because I was chilled to the bone, that beverage warmed me up in a flash! Lauri was our server and she embodies what it takes to be an exceptional server. We felt welcome and catered to! She did not miss a beat and truly enriched our dining experience. So let's talk about what we're here for... the chicken fried steak! To begin with this thing was ginormous! Most normal people could turn it into three or four meals! Mr. Wonderful ate the entire portion in one sitting. So to date, this is the best Chicken Fried Steak that he has had the pleasure of devouring. In closing we agree with our friend's recommendation to dine here.
